Maintenance
It depends of the quality of the water (hardness). It is imperative that the electrodes should be clean enough to release the ions. An intervention of 15 minutes every two weeks is necessary for hard water and only every four weeks for fresher or well filtered water. This intervention doesn’t require any special competence (no use of chemical products) and is subjected to a quick training when you first start the device.
Besides, a little copper measuring kit is provided to test the copper concentration and make sure that the norms are not exceeded. This test takes 3 minutes, we advise you to do it every two weeks.
How to clean the electrodes :
Brush. Open the collar, clean the seal of the collar, then take the electrodes out and clean them with a nylon brush.
(IMPORTANT : NEVER clean them with a metallic brush !)
