The bacteria responsible for Legionella are destroyed by temperatures superior to 60°C. One of the techniques consists in raising the temperature of the network so as to obtain hot water ( 70°C) inside all the taps and shower pipes and let the water flow for 30 mn.

• contamination reappears after a few weeks
